It is said that deep within Eggbug Mountain lies a grand treasure. You have traveled to the mountain to seek wealth and fortune.
But the mountain is also home to the eponymous eggbugs, giant insects with a very interesting reproduction cycle. A reproduction cycle that they'd love you to participate in!
Eggbug Mountain is a short puzzle platformer, where the creatures you encounter can help or hinder you, depending on the situation.
It was inspired by Wario Land 3, which was a game that, despite how main character looks, was astonishingly kinky in hindsight.

TL;DR of my opinion:

Seriously though, good but tricky little game, hot lewds too! If your future projects do more of this content and my situation allows it I might rustle up some Euros to fling in your general direction.
The game is interesting but challenging and a quick transformation would be slower it would be more interesting
Hey, actually enjoyable game. I feel like this is a first good finished project, now onto something even bigger next time, with more opponents, more animations, maybe? Sure there are a few small bugs (pun intended) and slightly inaccurate controls at times that lead to frustration, but overall good stuff. The transformation aspect to solve puzzles were a nice idea too. Good kinks, just too short, needs more.
Could also see something like this evolve into a full game with story and level up mechanics and such.

good art, good gameplay, good puzzles, good concept, very good game. only complaints are that theres no fullscreen option and W/up makes you fly in bug form, but doesnt make you jump in human form.
the gameplays are very unique and really fun. the graphics were almost perfect for this type of 2Ds games. overall, this game is fun and time comsuming

Super awesome! I had a lot of fun puzzling through each area and trying to figure out how to get the treasures (?) while they were Right In Front of me. Excellent design, and my only piece of dissatisfaction is that when I got the treasure, there were no more puzzles to conquer. That being said, the final area also felt like a really fun (if slightly tedious) final challenge combining everything (besides maybe vine and npc eggbug mechanics) into one crazy final boss of a puzzle! tl;dr very awesomesauce please make more good games

Talent deserves recognition. I strongly suggest making a squeal with more enemy diversity. I love how you have to use the bugs attacks in some situations to solve the puzzles. You have an engaging and erotic system here. Keep up the good work!
It was a really great game! At first, I was like, “Wow, that knockback is straight out of an anime,” but the design as a puzzle-action game is just excellent! I think it would be even more exciting if there were some kind of special reward for collecting all the secret items, but the NSFW animation parts are absolutely fantastic!
Hey I played your game today and I wanted to say great job! The puzzles are solidly designed (Although the final room was a real pain, having the second ant in push position when you fall is kind of a kick in the nads.) and the central concept is both fun as a puzzle and as a TF concept. I'm biased because I really love bug-girls. But needing to get somewhere in a certain form is a strong concept.
You've said elsewhere it's done but if you feel like adding more (I know I don't when I finish a game.) A map giving hints on the collectables would be pretty useful. An ending would also be super sweet, maybe the first screen with a bug grabber and you have the choice to leave as a guy, a bug or to fly back into the mountain as a bug? But that's just me being greedy. Again great job!
Are there plans for more content? More TF's and stuff...
Not in this one, i do enjoy being able to call a project finished.

Well in your next game I'd love to see some Game Overs, especially ones where they are breeder, I was hoping if tthe MC in this game got fked enough ttimes it would trigger a GO where they got carted off to happily lay eggs, but it was still a great game.

Small bug (no pun intended) if you're knocked back from the ant like insect, into the spiderweb moth insect you get stuck in a loop.
Just in case: If you get into a situation like that, you can press R to reset the current room.
so how do u get all the collectables?
like where are they
I'm currently stuck on that tower room with the (I think) ants and two mushrooms. No idea what to do here since I tried having them fling me into the opening to the right, but I seem to snap to the same horizontal plain they are on and I hit a wall as a result.
Anyone know how to get out of there?
Guys, what's the end of the game? I suspect I'm stuck in the final level : (

my recommendation for ideas are stuff like spider (or other web bug) tf and enemy, web puzzles, and maybe stuff like grub-girl tf could be funny, either way, excited to see more

This game is actually awesome! Short, but sweet, gets you accustomed to the mechanics pretty quickly, and most importantly it's delightfully simple to play.
Some rooms made me scratch my head multiple times until I put the pieces together after letting myself pause for a bit. The heart room took trial and error till I got it right.

I'm extremely stuck on the heart room. Every single timing is just slightly too close, and it feels like it was designed to be impossible, but look possible.
Oh, trust me, I think I made the same mistake as you did.
Hint: Do NOT go up the passageway with the tight window of timing - that droplet is there to discourage you from doing this exact thing.
Bigger hint: Remember that random small meat block next to the guard? You need to get rid of it to progress.
Another hint: the droplet on top of that block's placement is intentional.
biggest hint: get punched across the room by that guard, and you'll be on the path to progress!

I played your game and despite being only in TF and TG I must admit I had a lot of fun (and frustration... lot of frustration). We can feel than you clearly know how to make the game to be frustrating, in a good way like "Getting Over It", the grass who throw you just enough to not land on the plateforme for exemple. seriously this is the kind of game where you forget about it's adult content and just play it for fun, change it's appearance to make it more SFW and the game would be still interesting to play! and it show you are talented!
But I would have some critics:
- first the most frustating, the reward of the collectables, like imagine : you have explore all levels to find them, it was hard and has taken a lot of time, you go back to the begining to open that vault and... you just found a rainbow gems who give you points... like... we can get points by doing anything in this game (kill an ennemy, being hit by one, get tf...), it's really disapointing. I must admit I was hoping for something like simple esthetique change in our character, like we found a crown and from now our character wear a crown (so in his bee form he is queen bee). Or unlock a gallery where we can see some artwork of the game?
- maybe some explanation on how everything interact? it wasn't a big issue since we can understand quikly the mechanics. but at the beginning it was really confusing, like I didn't understood than water was able to undo tf and we could free ourselve from the bees by making them hit their head on the roof.
- I've seen than some vines attack faster than other, it was pretty confusing in game, a little indicator on them of which is faster would have been nice, like the fastest of them have a darker green?
But don't over fixate on my criticisms, your game is great and deserve more praise than scolding! I hope this comment will be more contructive than destructive

If you like the gameplay, consider finding a way to play wario land 3, it's a pretty underrated game, and this is quite strongly based on that(though it is quite clunky by modern standards)
So the rainbow gem was something i added quite late in development, i thought it could be funny to make you go backwards through the entire game for 100% completion, but i was having a bit of a hard time coming up with what to reward you with. I think it's funny when a game lets you get more than a 100% completion rate, so i ended up going with a 13th gem, but i get i could probably have chosen something better lol
I think figuring out all the interactions is part of the puzzle of the game
And i had this idea that there could be exactly one vine in the game that hits you the moment you go close to it and it would be like a funny jumpscare, but i got a bit carried away and added a bunch more and i realize that kinda undermines the comedy of it. whoops lol
yeah, Wario land is in my to play list , among a lot of other games.
And yeah making players go back to the beginning is kinda funny, but it's not has hard than it's sound, most traps are made to send you back to the start anyway. also I can understand you just wanted to finish it.
For the vines it could be funny, if like you said it was just one, but also those instant vines are place at the end of parcour, and being hit by them generally send you back to the begining, and in my case it happen 3-4 time to have to restart again because of them.
nice art, and nice integration of TF mechanics into game-play, I think for another go more than one transformation might be cool. That and/or more enemies that change how the character moves like the egg- which allows for some nice puzzles already.
who tf designed controls
I must say, I love this game. The sprites are great, animation is amazing. level design is hard but not impossible. However, some levels get really tedious with stuff respawning and not being able to tell where you're going, you could kill both of these birds with one stone if you made the window larger. it seems like you just had enemies respawn when off screen, and seeing farther would solve the few most difficult levels. Also an ending cutscene and saves would be great.
beat it, there's a walkthrough for this room further down. only got 8/12 gems. its an interesting game, if you're adding more I suggest tfs and a hint system for ppl that fail at platformers like me XD
Oh whoops the control list doesn't show the "lay egg" button. I figured most people would try pressing all the buttons but i guess since the button doesn't do anything when you don't have an egg some folks might not consider it :/

Great job on the game by the way, I got 13/12 gems.
Mostly had a good time but I thought the vines could be a bit annoying at times since some of them attack literally instantly whereas most have enough delay you can smack them twice before they get a single attack out. If there was some design reason you needed some to attack immediately I just wish they were a different color or something to make it more obvious which ones attack instantly and which don't.
Aside from that though very much enjoyed it and I very much look forward to your next project, whatever it may be!
If there are any updates, can there be dickgirl options? That could mean the human player gets eggs laid in his ass or mouth
i really liked the game I couldnt find the 12th gem though and need help with it couldnt find it anywhere
Enough people have mentioned this that i went and made it a little easier to spot the one gem that i suspect is the problem. In hindsight it was kind of rude of me to hide it like that, sorry lol
